What is electronic fault diagnosis?

If you have a warning light that suddenly appears on your dashboard it is obviously vital that the fault is diagnosed straight away. In order to do this it is necessary to carry out an electronic diagnostic test on your vehicle.

Today most modern vehicles have highly complex and sophisticated electronic systems that control everything from engine management to electric windows. In fact most cars have upwards of 50 ECUs (electronic control units) that monitor and control every aspect of your car's performance.

Remember an electronic test is more efficient than a manual check of the vehicle as computerised software will be able to scan, pin point and diagnose the exact cause of the problem much quicker.
