HospiceCare Charity Event!
What a fantastic evening we had on Friday 18th November when Britain's leading criminologist Professor David Wilson came to Blackshaws to give a talk in aid of HospiceCare North Northumberland. Over 150 people attended the event in our showroom in Alnwick and thanks to your generous support we managed to raise an amazing £1409 for the Hospice. Professor Wilson who is much in demand as a public speaker and regularly appears in print and broadcast media spoke and answered questions for almost 2 hours in what was a really fascinating evening. Our thanks to everyone who attended - we hope you enjoyed the event!
Quick charge for Nissan Leaf!
We were happy to help out recently by loaning a Nissan Leaf to Haggerston Castle for the installation of their new electric Quick Charge point. Althought Blackshaws won't be officially selling the new Leaf until 2013 due to the phased launch programme we already have a couple of vehicles on site in order to familiarise ourselves with this exciting new technoglogy. Improved parking!
We are really pleased to announce that we have recently invested in new customer parking facilities at our dealership in Alnwick. Following customer feedback it was apparent that our parking arrangements were becoming quite congested particularly first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon. Therefore we have re-surfaced and set out additional parking bays in a section of our compound so that customers now have a much more spacious and clearly defined area for collecting their vehicles. We hope you'll approve of our new arrangments.

Out & about around Morpeth
Visitors to Heighley Gate Garden Centre and Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth may have seen our exhibition trailer and various Nissan and Suzuki display vehicles recently. We always enjoy off site activities such as this as it gives us the chance to meet new people and to answer any questions about our product range and services. If you are in the area please look out for us again at Sanderson Arcade between September 9th and 11th and at Heighley Gate between September 19th and 25th.
